Ken Sheets, Founder and iM-Boot Inventor
With 18 years as an embedded design engineer and application
engineering manager, Ken has driven the design and development
of 5 different embedded processors and has been an invited
panelist at the ARM Developers conference. Focusing on 4-32 bit
embedded space, Ken's projects have ranged from high-end audio
components to medical equipment. Ken's hard work has earned
major design wins at some of the largest consumer electronic
manufacturers. Ken currently holds the position of North
American Field Applications Engineering Manager for Oxford
Semiconductor.
Jim Frederickson, Senior Financial Advisor
Jim Fredrickson has been involved in the Silicon Valley finance
arena for more than 30 years. His experience began with a
variety of high technology companies while employed by the San
Jose office of Arthur Andersen & Co. Progressing to an audit
manager, he was involved with several clients who had public
offerings and public reporting requirements. He worked for ARGOSystems (defense electronics), in Sunnyvale for 19 years,
first as the corporate controller and then as the Vice President
and CFO. During his employment, ARGOSystems became a public
company and was later acquired by The Boeing Company. In recent
years, Jim has held financial leadership positions in a variety
of small companies.
Jim has been a licensed CPA for 30 plus years and is a member of
the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs. He holds a BS
degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and has
attended the Stanford Financial Executive Management Training
program.
Jackie Sheets, Co-Founder/Marcom Manager
Jackie has worked for several technology start-up's in the
Silicon Valley as a Project Manager and Tradeshow/Events
manager within the Marcom space. Jackie has been instrumental
to the development of the iM-Boot core technology as well as
all marketing communications, including PR, tradeshow and
operational facilitation.
Kevin Epstein, Senior Marketing Advisor
Kevin Epstein is a Silicon Valley marketing executive with
several technology patents in his name, founding experience at
three successful small-business retail ventures, and almost two
decades of subsequent experience in guerrilla marketing tactics
at such software industry high-flyers as Netscape, RealNetworks,
Inktomi, and VMware. Kevin also holds an undergraduate degree in
high-energy nuclear physics, an MBA from Stanford (where he
teaches the occasional course), authored Entrepreneur Magazine’s
book “Marketing Made Easy”, and serves as an outside advisor to
various venture-backed and individual entrepreneurial start-up
companies. Kevin firmly believes that one doesn’t need have to
have a degree in nuclear physics to do great marketing… but it
helps.
Richard Sessions, Senior Advisor
Thirty-five years of industrial and high-tech experience as an
applications engineer, salesperson, marketer, mentor, $150M
business unit general manager, and leader of a $400M marketing
organization as well as involved with bio-tech and alternative
energy start-ups. Richard is a graduate of Cornell University
with a BS in Engineering and is an international lecturer and
executive education/graduate school speaker on global new
product development, high-tech product portfolio management, and
high-intensity strategic planning and execution. Richard has
been quoted in numerous articles and books on strategic
processes and building the unstoppable financial powerhouse as
well as has collaborating on several management books including
Beyond the Financials and an internal A.T. Kearney, Inc.
management publication targeted for C-level company leadership.
Michael Weseloh, Marketing Director
Michael’s seventeen years of sales, marketing, new product
development and product launch experience are grounded with a
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara
University. Michael has helped numerous companies with product
development and feature enhancements in the consumer, medical,
industrial, wireless and networking products space. Mike's
experience with Logical Services, a contract design house
specializing in manufacturing, engineering, project management
and sales, mentored him on the critically of 'time to market'
and the necessity of launching a ‘complete’ product. These
skills were further honed while employed at Mitsubishi
Electronics, Renesas Semiconductor and Oki Semiconductor.
During his career he has held steering committee and board
positions with ZigBee and UPnP respectively and has additionally
participated in IEEE802.
Chris Ewing, Senior Sales Advisor
Chris Ewing has a diverse background in technology, business
development, sales, project management and consulting spanning
20 years in the IT industry. Chris has previously worked with
Silicon Valley-based technology companies and is currently with Chordiant Software where he heads up Business Development for
Professional Services in North America. Prior to Chordiant,
Chris founded CherryLogic, a business technology consulting
firm. He has previously held the position of Vice President,
Novell Web Applications Group, and various other management
positions while at Wysdom and Brooktrout Technology where he was
instrumental in developing business partnerships and generating
sales for early wireless Internet applications, network
infrastructure and services, IP voice solutions,
computer-telephone integration products and call center
services. Chris earned a B.S. in Information Systems Management,
and graduated with Highest Honors from the University of San
Francisco. |
