The iM-Boot Duo is a hard drive selector that enables you to boot from two safely separate hard drives within the same desktop computer. It is as simple as the flick of a switch. Having multiple drives provides you and your family with separate and secure environments in which to work or play.

What makes the iM-Boot Duo unique?

While other products address multiple operating systems with often tedious software solutions that create only artificial barriers, the iM-Boot Duo is all hardware—easy to install and easy to use. This boot selector completely removes the unselected drive from the system with absolutely no crossover. Coupled with boot drive password protection, iM-Boot ensures complete defense of data. Additionally, it works with one SATA port on the motherboard, avoiding multiple port "BIOS"  issues when switching multiple drives.  

How does it work?

The iM-Boot fits into any available PCI or PCIe slot on your computer and sits between the Motherboard and the Hard Drives.  A simple rocker switch allows you to control which drive the computer boots while making the other drive(s) completely invisible to the computer. iM-Boot’s intelligent design makes moving between drives as easy as the flick of a switch and a simple boot or re-boot. Power cycling is not required to switch hard drives.
